Let's say you're laying down on your mom's old mattress that she's had for years. She might have gotten accustomed to it over the years, but you think it would be really great if she had a new mattress. Something she could get that fifteen hours of sleep she deserves. You buy the new mattress that day and throw out the old mattress in time for the garbage man to pick it up.

Mom comes home, and she's gone maverick. Did she miss that mattress this much to go crazy over it? No, she misses what was in it. Your life savings that you hid in the mattress yourself. I've thrown away 30 dollars and had a hard time over it... Now, how do you go about forgiving yourself of losing 1 million dollars, your life's savings
