I've been away tryng to get over being sick. Still not all the way there, but ol' Nigel is helping out. If you've never seen/heard this guys work, you might want to.
First, and I say this fondly, it's been said that Kennedy looks like a pineapple. But big deal, he saws a classic and jazz violin that is beyond awesome!
He'll combine the styles, like on one recording he made of a Mozart concerto, he begins with the acoustic violin and plays in classic style, but switches to electric and ends on on a jazz riff. I bet Mozart would have dug it.

And even in a classical setting, playing from Vivaldi Four Seasons, he's still unique.
