David's Knockdown is inspired by the bible story of a young king David guarding his sheep as a shepherd boy. To play, gamers step into David's shoes knocking down predator targets with a slingshot, while avoiding hitting the sheep. Levels get more difficult as new predators are introduced that have unique characteristics making them harder to knock down. Players earn bonus points for accuracy, and can achieve wooden, silver or gold medals for each level.
The bible verses that appear cover a small section of the story of David, with future updates to include more levels, targets and story. A full interactive story of David and Goliath is in production and will be sold as a separate pop-up book application in the New Year.
Our company A Little BC was started by two Christian dads wanting to create fun and family-friendly games that bring the Bible alive for today's techno-savvy children.
