Hello everyone! The Alpha Jan here actually posting something on a Friday. I hope you are all enjoying your weekends now since it is officially the beginning of the weekend. I just checked out the WWE website and found out that their next pay-per-view titeld Hell in a Cell will be held this coming Sunday, Octobery 4, 2009. How respectable that they have The Undertaker promoted for this event since he has been in more Hell in a Cell matches than anyone else.

So for all of you who don't know professional wrestling, what is Hell in a Cell? It is a steel cage with a roof that is 30 feet long, 30 feet wide, by 30 feet high. It used to be only 16 feet high before but the WWE decided to make it more roomier and more dangerous. Since its induction back in 1996, the Hell in the Cell has only been used sixteen times since then. With the exception of one Hell in the Cell match, all matches have either featured Triple H or the Undertaker. Now that the WWE is making a pay-per-view in which all matches will be contested inside Hell in a Cell, there will be more firsts coming this Sunday including the first women's match inside Hell in a Cell.
This match is given the nicknames of "Devil's Playground" or "Satan's Structure". Also because of the nature of the match, Hell in a Cell has been known to either end or shorten careers. This match alone has ended the referee career of WWE former referee Tim White as well as retired many wrestler from mainstream wresting including Mick Foley and Kevin Nash. In all respects, you have to be a monster to survive this match and it is fitting that the WWE has made the theme song for this pay-per-view event to be Monster by Skillet. I think it is a one-two hit for both the WWE and Skillet since the WWE is trying to be more family friendly thus stopping the annual Playboy Centerfolds and keeping away from the risque material as of late. Even wrestling moves have been renamed to be cleaner such as John Cena's finisher going from F-U to the Attitude Adjustment and removing the U from his submission the STFU bringing it back to an STF. As for Skillet, this gives them a lot of exposure since WWE is world famous. So all in all, I am pleased this helps both the band and one company I watched since I was very young.

Faith. Love. Hope. Will. Alpha OUT!
