At Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2010, there was a huge array of new releases that eveyrone was eyeing at. The biggest presentation was easily that of the upcoming motion capture hardware known as Kinect but something else caught they eyes of everyone else and that was the brand new model for the Xbox 360 and boy does it look delicious.

It all starts out with the old Xbox 360 shell sitting on top of a table, then the Xbox representative during the press conference lifts the shell up to reveal the brand new Xbox 360. Very classy, very cool way of representing the newer version, and of course there are improvements both cosmetic and functionally.
...
Now everyone wants to know what this system has functionally and this is where it stands out from its predecessors. The wi-fi is built in and that is a big one for most people. Before, if you wanted wireless gaming on the Xbox 360, you had to buy a wireless hub, connect to a wireless hub, or purchase that $100 wireless connection for the back of most Xbox 360 systems. Having it built in – like the PS3 – saves a lot of trouble of having to “add on” to the hardware as well as puts something of convenience for the customer which has become a necessity to a lot of gamers. Next is the prevention of a little evil thing known as “The Red Ring of Death”. Microsoft promises this new upgraded system will never ever get that ever again. Now don’t get them wrong for the system can still break but the “Red Ring of Death” is no more by what they say. I can see this finally happening due to all the vents they added to the new hardware but that also means more entrance passages for dust and dust is very combustable as well as a danger to electronics since they are static as well.
